Come on down and meet Tex Allen. He wears a clown Nose in public, every day, every where! This is the first public viewing of his work as he pursues a mission of spreading joy and happiness, by handing out clown Noses to everyone who asks him, "Why The Nose?" and then documenting the results.
Scott Levkoff's Mystic Midway will also be spreadin' the whimsical love of wonder and mystery, all wrapped up an in art opening you really can't miss! The result will be a night of celebrating Uninhibited Heroic Innocence through a lense that's been trained to capture MAGIC, every time a Nose is placed on a fresh face. It is a period of upheaval in the desert. Rebel virgins, eager to partake in the event, have amassed a majority of tickets. Gas prices are soaring, and sound systems need upgrades. A group of stalwart veterans have plans to bring back the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored mutant vehicle space station with (hopefully) enough power to party an entire planet.

My name is Dadara, I am an artist from Amsterdam, and working on the Transformoney Tree, a Burning Man art grant project for this year.
It's the follow up to the Exchanghibition Bank, my last years project: As an artist I started a bank, which issues banknotes of Zero, Million, and Infinite. A project questioning the value(s) of Art and Money. ( short video showing a bit more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6d0CvhFSto )
The Transformoney Tree is the next step: The Exchanghibition Banknotes will be hanging from its branches, while the tree itself will be covered in an interactive process with thousands of real banknotes by participants. In the process those banknotes will lose their financial value, but get other values in return. Because we are dealing with physical banknotes, and not our current mostly virtual form of money. people can make their contributions more personal by customizing their banknotes, so we decided to organize some small events to stimulate the collection of cool banknote material. And on the 12th of August from 2 till 8 PM we will organize a Banknote Beautifying event in San Francisco at the Tech Shop Annex on 910 Howard Street.

What is the idea of the event:
- Invite a bunch of friends, burners, artists, and/or just random cool people
- We will organize various markers, and pens. If you want you are welcome to bring more decoration stuff, paint, glue etc.
- Tell everybody who is coming to bring banknotes – preferably dollar bills, but all currencies are welcome!
There will be a donation bar with wine and beer. If you want other stuff to drink than please bring your own.

Since I will arrive from Amsterdam on the 11th of August and will leave on the 13th for Reno to start building any help from the SF Burner community would be appreciated to make this happen.
